We made it to Grand Rapids!

After a wonderful run in Sioux City, Iowa, my family is relocating to Grand Rapids, Michigan! I'm ready to dive in, find new churches, and continue providing music for weddings, funerals, and other events as soon as Summer 2024!

It's been a while since a film score grabbed me - but Netflix's Slumberland is IT! The main theme is actually the old Irish standard Through the Parting Glass, which has a melody that lends itself perfectly to solemn, mournful moments as well as cheery playfulness.

Happy 5th Anniversary to my husband Scott Larson KCAU! I can't believe I found someone who was excited as me about having Concerning Hobbits from the Lord of the Rings: the Fellowship of the Ring as our wedding processional!

I’m forever grateful to my friend Nick for singing at our wedding. I changed my mind a few times about what song he should sing - never fun for a wedding musician! Nick was such a great sport! Fun fact: on the big day, Nick sang I Choose You by Andy Grammer along to a recording of me playing piano!

In 2019 someone mistakenly hired a flute player for their wedding instead of a pianist. When they realized it, a friend got in touch! I think I had about a week to learn accompaniment for THREE solos in addition to the couples’ preferred processionals and recessional, but we made it happen!
