Woah- It’s been awhile! It’s getting about to that time of year where I’m itching for some flowers to play around with. Our first wedding of the 2025 season is 4 months away! I’m so excited about the weddings we have booked for this year… it’s going to be so beautiful. ❤️❤️

Today I flowered for the final wedding of our 2024 wedding season! I’m still wrapping my head around the season but I have to say… SDF has some of the best clients around. So loving, so relaxed, and so trusting. I have loved working with our 20+ clients this year and count myself so, so lucky that they invite me in to be a part of one of the biggest days of their lives. Know that I do not take that lightly! Life looks a little different now for me (baby, new job!) but I foresee this little world of flowers sticking around for awhile. I just can’t give it up! 🌸🌼

A little update if you will! After a couple really fun years focusing on flowers full time, I’ve decided to step back into the education world! I’ve accepted (and already started!) a role as a administrator for a school that serves special education students. If you know me, you know my heart has always been with that population and I’m so lucky to be able to serve the teachers, students, and families there.

What does that mean for SDF? The short answer is, I don’t know! We still have plenty of really beautiful weddings scheduled for this year- ones we are SO excited for! And already a few scheduled for next year. Basically if you want us to flower your wedding, reach out! If it’s a good fit, we’d love to still be a part of your special day. ❤️❤️

Every time I make a bridal bouquet I think it’s my favorite, but this one? That actually may be true. A perfect March day with surprise sunshine! (It’s Michigan after all so you never know!)

Happy Sunday! No weddings from us this weekend so we are heading up north for a few days of camping. Bringing it back to this day last June… one I still think about for how perfect of a day it was!

I’m a strong believer that weddings should be exactly what YOU want. In a room of hundreds or just a few of your closet people. At a formal venue or at a family cottage. All white flowers or a rainbow of colors.

There’s beauty in all of it.

The one constant is that no matter what, we will walk along side you and add a little special floral magic in there.
