This is such a bittersweet post for me to write…
What started as a random thought one night while lying in bed turned into something so much bigger than I ever imagined.
Lynn Marie Events has brought me more joy than I can put into words—friendships I’ll cherish forever, experiences I’ll always be proud of, and a business built from so much heart. Being trusted to help couples plan one of the biggest days of their lives is something I never took lightly, and I’m beyond grateful to have worked with over 50 amazing couples over the last five years.
As many of you know, weddings take a LOT of planning, long days, and a whole lot of heart. Right now, I’m in a season where my heart is being pulled somewhere else. I absolutely love being Miles’ mom, and I want to be fully present—soaking in every moment and not missing out on time I’ll never get back.
With that said, I’m so excited (and honestly relieved in the best way) to introduce you to the new owner of Lynn Marie Events—Kara.
Talk about stars aligning. Kara reached out to me in the spring of 2025 asking about the industry and if she could shadow me, feeling a strong pull toward event planning. At the same time, I had been quietly thinking about stepping back but couldn’t imagine letting LME go. It truly felt like God placing the right person in front of me at exactly the right time.
Kara has spent the entire summer and fall working alongside me, and I have no doubt she’s going to do incredible things. She is attentive, creative, thoughtful, and genuinely cares so deeply about her couples. I couldn’t be more excited to see what’s ahead for LME and am so honored to pass it into her hands.
From the bottom of my heart—thank you. To every couple who trusted me, every vendor who became a friend, and every person who supported this journey… thank you more than you know.
With so much love,
Jayme 🤍
