🥹 Completely blown away. Truly.
I received the most unexpected email today from the editorial team at Peerspace, and I honestly don’t even have the words.
1945 Event Co. has been featured in Peerspace’s “Best Party Planners in Michigan” series, and we were named #1. 🏆✨
And what makes this recognition even more meaningful is learning how they selected the planners featured. Their team surveyed an audience of more than 1 million people for real recommendations and firsthand experiences, then conducted their own independent research, looking at reviews, portfolios, industry recognition, and credentials.
This recognition cannot be paid for. The list is completely merit-based and 100% free.
That part really hit me.
Because behind 1945 Event Co. is so much hard work, dedication, sacrifice, creativity, long days, late nights, early mornings, and a whole lot of believing in a dream. There have absolutely been moments of doubt and moments when I wondered if all of the hard work was really making a difference.
Then you get an email like this.
A reminder that God’s timing is always better than ours. 🙏🏻
I truly believe there are moments in life that can only be described as God’s miracles; doors opening that you never expected, opportunities arriving when you least expect them, and little reminders that you are exactly where you are supposed to be.
I LOVE what I do. More than I could ever put into words. Being able to turn something I dreamed about into a career and a business that gets to be part of some of life’s most important moments is something I will never take for granted.
To every couple, family, client, venue, vendor, friend, and person who has trusted 1945 Event Co. Thank you. Every one of you has played a part in this journey.

Today I’m just going to let myself be proud for a minute.
