As a photographer, some sessions feel extra special — this was one of them.

April & Freya are two young mini donkeys living their best farm life in Loma, Colorado. Their humans shared how they searched for over a year before finding these sweet souls… and it’s easy to see why they fell in love. 🌿☀️

April and Freya are calm, social, and gentle — everything happens on their schedule, a little thing their owners call “Donkey Time.” ⏳ They love affection and attention more than treats, which makes their bond with people even more special. 💛

The dream? To share their magic through animal therapy. Though still in training, they’ve already welcomed visitors who simply sit with them, feeling the peace and love these minis radiate. Their owners also hope to have them participate in events like parades down the road. 🎉🐴

It was a joy to document their personalities and the heart behind their humans’ vision. Sometimes, the most powerful therapy doesn’t need words — just soft eyes, a gentle nudge, and a donkey hug. 🫶

Okay but… have you ever seen a charcuterie bar this chic?! 😍🧀✨

I got to shoot the very first branding session for chiccharcuteriecompany and wow — this is not your average cheese setup. It’s a mobile charcuterie bar serving bottomless bites on the cutest mini boards. Like... luxury on wheels. 🥂

We shot this out at Colorado National Monument and it was honestly breathtaking. The views were unreal — and somehow, the food looked just as good as the backdrop. 😮‍💨

They’ll roll up literally anywhere to bring the vibe. Events, views, and gourmet grazing? Honestly, what more could you want?
