“ A Trip to the Movies “ floral exhibit opens the evening of Sept 7 from 6 pm to 9 pm.
Preview night, an opportunity to view it lit up in the evening.
Also open September 8,9 &10 each day from 9 am to 3:30 pm.
This event is throughout the grounds, your ticket includes a tour inside the Hall where additional areas will carry out the theme.

Stopping for a few quiet minutes on the front porch, enjoying the warm summer day. Am hoping for some rain soon however.

Last leg of our journey home after a great family trip with the Carmollis .
Natalie did a super job making all reservations & travel plans.
We stayed at various Air B&B’s in Hamburg, Germany, P**a, Croatia& Venice Italy plus some R&R last night at a Hotel within the Istanbul airport.
We all were impressed with Turkish Airlines.
Their Airbus 350-900 has decent legroom in economy class. Nice amenities such as a small cloth zipper bag with some soft socks, slippers, wash cloth & a few other personal items.
Meals were actually quite good & service staff excellent.

Looking like fresh picked from the garden, this permanent botanical design is ready to send out to grace the dining table at Meadowbrook Hall. Art in the Elements will be taking place there September 10-13. The wooded trails will be filled with fanciful Storybooks & Fairytales themed fresh flower exhibits. An event to lift your spirits and heal your soul!

Art in the Elements is just two weeks away! Thirty+ floral artists will be descending upon Detroit to create large scale floral sculptures in the woods, and to interpret into floral designs artworks selected from the historic home.

Preview tickets are available now and general admission tickets are available on site.

The Michigan Floral Association is now doing business as the Great Lakes Floral Association (GLFA). Nothing has changed except for the name. Their mission statement has dropped the word…
