I've been really feeling the isolation these past few weeks...desiring so much to get out in the world and travel again. So, to hold me over, I decided to make a short film highlighting some of my favorite trips from the past years. Emily & Jeff are some of the most joy-filled, authentic, and caring people I've ever met and getting to capture their stunning wedding in the redwoods of California earlier this year was a complete honor. Not to mention that we were able to meet up the next day to record their story and explore the Pacific coastline together (and then snag some In-N-Out after that) 😍😍 Here's my visual take on their story, enjoy!

Why I Do What I Do
I honestly never intended to be a photographer – for me, my work has always been first and foremost about people.
We live in an era where photographs have never been more prevalent and it’s excessively simple to pull out your phone, frame a scene, and capture an image. But I honestly couldn’t care less about images – what drives and propels my creativity is the pursuit of real moments and authentic intimacy.
Here’s the thing – my title may be “photographer” but my work isn’t at all about taking pictures. Sure, I use a camera as the method for capturing moments but when you strip things down to the basics, I’m all about building relationships with my clients so that we can curate experiences...together.
It’s not my objective to capture scenes from your life, I want to join you in it. To truly get to know you on a deeper level so that we can craft your visual narrative in such a way that the images we create will stir up memories and evoke emotions every time you look at them.
Photography isn’t a career for me, it’s a lifelong passion. I honestly just want to create content that tells a meaningful, emotion-filled, expressive story of the people I’m privileged enough to work with.
