Hello Sunshine Flowers

Dahlias are slowing down but I can't convince myself to cut them down until the first frost.

While I cannot guarantee dahlia bouquets right now, I will supply them for orders if they are still looking okay. Thanks for being patient!

Behind the scenes! 🌸

The hoop house is officially ready for the off season. Recently, I put a fresh coat of paint on the door and hooked it back on.

In the next few weeks, the tulip bulbs and ranunculus crowns will be coming in and I'll be busy planting for spring.

Side note- The door is beautiful!! I found it a few years ago from Habitat for Humanity's Resale Shop. If you're looking for any fixer upper housing supplies, this place is great!

Every year our family goes apple picking 🍎

My dad grew up on an apple farm. Growing up, my parents would bring us to an orchard and now carry on the tradition. I always want my kids to understand where food comes from, the hard work that goes into it and how it gets to the grocery store. Of course, we have a little fun at the orchard too!

🌸 Behind the Scenes 🌸

Closing up the garden this week is definitely bittersweet. The flowers are tired, and honestly… so am I!

This season brought plenty of challenges with all the weather variables, but somehow, it also turned into our biggest year yet!

I am so incredibly thankful for every order, every share, every referral, and every person who chose to support our little flower farm. Thank you for showing up for us and helping this dream grow! ❤️

As we close the garden and head into our off-season, here are a few things to keep in mind:

💐 I’ll still be providing flowers during the off-season by working with a wholesaler.

💐 Prices may be a little higher than they are during the summer. When I’m not growing the flowers myself, my cost to purchase them from a wholesaler is higher.

💐 For deliveries during the off season, bouquets are a minimum of $50 to offset rising costs.

💐 Thank you so much for understanding and continuing to support my small family flower farm! 🌸

The garden may be resting, but I’m still here when you need flowers! 💐❤️

Have a wonderful homecoming Spring Lake!!

Buckets of blooms, corsages, boutonnieres and single order of blooms went out the door this morning. As the season nears it's end, blooms were from my garden and my wholesaler.

Thanks for supporting me!
