Join us at 3:30 pm T O D A Y for a book signing with Gretchen Stenehjem!

We're hosting a paw-ty and book signing with Gretchen Stenehjem, author of Buddy the Dog. 🐶 🐾

Buddy the Dog is a story about a dog that has a disability and found it hard to make friends. After learning why Buddy looked different than other dogs, the other animals were able to overcome their fear, embrace their differences and create a lasting friendship with Buddy.

Copies of Buddy the Dog will be available for purchase. Proceeds from the book's sales will be donated to the Anne Carlson Center in Jamestown, N.D. Complimentary hors devours and beverages will be served.

𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫
Gretchen Stenehjem lives in Watford City, North Dakota. Gretchen and her husband, Steve, raised four children and now enjoy spending time with their six grandchildren. Gretchen is a former elementary school teacher and preschool director with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Reading Disabilities from Mankato State University in Minnesota. Becoming an author was the perfect fit for her!

Buddy the golden retriever was adopted by the Gretchen and her family. He was found after an accident which left him blind in one eye. Despite his disability, Buddy had so much love to give. He ran and played with the Stenehjem children Peter, Erik, Kira and Kristen. He even helped Erik overcome his fear of dogs. Buddy lived with their family for 13 years.

Gretchen is currently working on more stories about Buddy so look for more encouraging messages soon!
