Hello, my lovely Ozians! 💚✨

With the Wicked For Good premiere arriving tomorrow, I reached out to our friends at River Cinema to see if we could bring a little extra Oz-inspired magic to the lobby… and they said yes! 🎭🎈

Today we sprinkled in glowing greens, soft sparkle, sweet pink highlights, and just a hint of that “everything lovely and a little bit luminous” Glinda energy. ✨

And of course… I had to be the first to test the photo spot — purely for magical quality control, of course. 😉💖

I’m so excited for guests to see this cheerful, whimsical display when the movie opens tomorrow! A huge thank-you to River Cinema for partnering with Balloons by Misti on this fun, enchanting project.

What a special moment this week! 💛
At the Celebrate Aging Expo, I finally got to meet Dee, the original owner of Balloons by Dee — the very first balloon décor company here in Grand Forks.

For years people have asked me, “Do you know Dee?”
And now I can finally say YES, I do! 🎉

She paved the way for balloon artists in our community long before balloon décor was what it is today. Hearing her stories, sharing a few laughs, and taking a picture together was such a gift. I’m grateful for the women who came before me, who poured their creativity into this community, and who helped make the balloon world what it is today.

Honoring the past while bringing joy to celebrations today — that’s what makes this business so meaningful. 🩷

This past Tuesday, we were blessed beyond measure with the most incredible sight — the Northern Lights dancing right over my front yard. Standing there, watching the sky glow with pinks and greens, I couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude. What a gift to witness something so beautiful right here at home. ✨🌌

And with it being Thanksgiving season, that same sense of thankfulness has been on my heart every single day. I am so grateful for those of you who invite me into your lives and celebrations — from gender reveals to birthdays (every single day!), anniversaries, work and school milestones, graduations, retirements, bridal and baby showers… all of it.

It is one of the greatest honors of my life to use the talents God gave me to help bring joy, beauty, and a little extra magic to your special moments. 🎈💛

I truly feel so blessed to do what I do, and even more blessed to do it for a community I love this much. Thank you for letting Balloons by Misti be part of your stories.

People ask me all the time, “What’s your favorite balloon arrangement you’ve ever made?”
And the truth is… it’s always the one I just finished.

I pour my whole heart and soul into every design, and once it’s complete, it becomes my new favorite — every single time. 💛✨

Yesterday, it was these two adorable 7th birthday arrangements that stole my heart. A little Grinchy Christmas magic for one sweet kiddo, and a full movie-star moment for Ellie — complete with popcorn, stars, and all the Hollywood fun. 🎬🍿💗

Seeing Ellie’s face light up when she picked up her movie-themed arrangement was priceless. Those smiles are exactly why I love what I do. 🎈💕

This week reminded me that my balloons aren't just about decoration — it’s about connection. 🌸

A grandmother reached out to order some balloons to mark what would have been her grandbaby’s 11th birthday — a Heavenly birthday.

Instead of a simple 11 balloon bouquet, I went to work to craft a small tabletop arrangement: soft white flowers, a pink heart, and an “11” to symbolize love remembered. 💕

It was a sacred reminder that every business, no matter how creative or practical, has the chance to serve through heart.

Whether we’re celebrating joy, milestones, or memory, we have the privilege to help people honor what matters most. 🤍
