We’ve had a lot of people ask how they can help or what they can do to support our progress. Donations are one simple way many of you can assist, right from the comfort of your own home. Transparency is key to us, and we take pride in being open and honest. To be clear, we don’t love asking for donations, but here’s the thing: once our space is up and running, every dollar donated will be cycled right back into the community.

We’ve had a busy day and it’s not even 2pm yet!

To keep everyone sort of up to date. We are working with the bank to figure out our next step with financing for our greenhouse venue!

Dave McLane is currently working on our site plan and I hope to be able to approach the township next month! 🤞🏼

So - still moving forward with the plan.

Dustin and I took a trip today!
We picked up two more second hand oval back chairs now putting us at 7!
AND!
My personal favorite, we purchased a stunning set of coaching scene dishes!
Yes, I cried. I love my chinaware.

We are putting all of our efforts into our current brides this year and the development of The Aitken Estate

Clients can still rent from us and utilize our staffing 🙂

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Waneita (Our favorite over at Bentley Florist) popped by with some of her stunning work!

We've decided to dress a few tables here and there at The Aitken Estate because... why now?! Even though the house isn't picture perfect yet.... you can barely tell we took these photos in the middle of a construction zone.

Our bartending branch has been shifting its focus towards content branding, while also developing future courses and online tutorials. Dustin, the owner of the company, is actively curating bartending eBooks and course agendas to further enhance our offerings. To gain more recognition as a 'craft bartending company,' Dustin is putting his drinks into the rink. He’s curating unique cocktails and entering them into competitions to start getting himself on the map.

We’re doing all of this in the midst of the new wedding season kicking off and working tirelessly on our historic house (The Aitken Estate), which will eventually be our landing spot with a greenhouse venue.

We, our company, our brand, and our family have a lot on our plates, but we know for a fact that we are headed in the right direction to become one of the brightest shining stars in the small business world here in Genesee County. After winning the Barspoon App cocktail contest with my cocktail Anodyne, a few months ago, I’m proud to announce that I just finished my entry into the Cointreau . I worked very hard on this drink that is meant to represent my twist on an environmentally sustainable version of the classic margarita.
No idea if I’ll win or even make it into the first round of the challenge at all. What I do know after creating fun and very challenging drinks from the past is that if you’re not failing, you’re not trying hard enough. I have had great successes but many more failures with my drink creations. Failing is only so, if you don’t learn from those mistakes. So keep failing with me guys. Eventually, we get it right. Drink specs below:

2 oz. Tequila Ocho Blanco
3/4 oz. Cointreau
3/4 oz. Lime sherbet
1/2 oz. Green Sichuan peppercorn Infused Dolin Blanc
1/4 oz. Lime juice
4 dashes saline solution

Added some pink to the inventory today!

I bought roughly 12, 120” pink tablecloths second hand. I told the very sweet lady I bought them from that I do not know if they will ever be used 😂 but, at least the option is there.

Then, I headed over to Barnhouse antiques and purchased 86 pieces of pink Miss American depression glass! I’ve been eyeing them for a few weeks and today I took the leap. Such a gem to find! So, huge thank you to Vendor 17 at the shop!

To take our sustainability efforts even further, our florist Wanieta, owner of Bentley Florist has jumped on board! We’re now taking her ‘not perfect’ flowers and drying them for a second (dead) life. 🌸🌱

We have to say, within the last year, we've connected with so many people who also value a sustainable push. It’s amazing to see how many are passionate about making a difference!

Wanieta is such a gem to be around. She’s a good person through and through.

As many of you know, sustainability is at the heart of what we do. Whenever we spot something we love nearby, we make sure to scoop it up! We're excited to announce that we’re slowly adding more to our collection—starting with standard 6' and 8' long tables to offer even MORE options to our clients.

These beautiful chairs and bench were generously gifted to us, and we couldn’t be more thrilled! They’ll be the perfect addition to our farmhouse table in the old dining room at The Aitken Estate, or they’d make the sweetest touch at a bridal party’s head table. 💕✨
