If we’ve met or worked together, you’ve heard me say this before. But for those I have not met, let me tell you how to plan the perfect wedding menu! I do this every weekend so I promise this is good info. 🫒❤️

1. You need two meats because not everyone likes pork or chicken.

2. You need a starch. Any kind will do.

3. You need something green. This can be a vegetable, a salad, etc.

4. You need something you can dip a chip or cracker in. It can be a hot item or cold.

5. You need something that’s going to make a statement on your food tables. It does not have to be fruit. A salad can make a statement. Let your Caterer help you figure this one out.

6. You need a fun item, a think outside the box item. You have no idea how many people have made a career out of going to weddings. 😂 And they are sick of eating the same thing every Saturday. Again…let your caterer help you with this one.

I hope this helps you when it’s time to choose a menu for your wedding. Lean on your Caterer for guidance. That’s why you hire a professional. Let them do the work for you. I always ask a few questions about the Bride and Groom. We can come up with a menu in about 10 minutes. So don’t stress about food!

I always tell my staff that we are not in the business of saving lives, just making sure people eat good. 😊

The traditional sit-down dinner service has always been the most popular type of dinner service, irrespective of the event type.

Most plated dinner service menus include three courses separately served by waitstaff that are experienced in this type of service. Guests can usually make a choice from two to three entrees, stating their preference when they RSVP to attend the event.

Plated dinner service is formal and elegant, and suitable for most high end events.
