ONCE UPON A TIME . . .
a woman in a beautiful crown met a man at an iron gate where they said their vows (and maybe a few tears were shed).
She had wished for a fairytale, and the whole kingdom turned out to grant it. Her ladies-in-waiting wept at the bottom of the stairs. His knights stood shoulder to shoulder beside him, suited in gray and ready for whatever the day required. And a fluffy princess dog named Nugget, in her finest dress, took her place in the wedding party as if she’d been born to it. (She had.)
They made their promises by the water. Then the bride kicked off her slippers and ran, and her whole court ran with her.
When night fell, fog rolled across the great hall and sparks rose on either side. A bouquet was thrown with almost-Olympic skill. The couple left in a storm of white butterflies.
And they danced happily ever after. 🤍
