Happy Friday! ✨

I often love getting to reflect back on some of the weddings I have assisted on in the past. Madi and Alex were my May 27th couple. Everything about their day was so special.

First of all, Madi's dress was stunning. 😍

Secondly, if I could choose one thing I loved most about their day, it would be Madi's attention to soaking in the sweet moments with Alex. Not only did they share private vows before the ceremony, but they also took time post ceremony just the two of them. They were able to enjoy their dinner privately and soak in their feelings directly following saying "I do". Not only was this such a special time for them, but it also allowed them to be attentive and enjoy more time with their guests once the reception began.

Take a page from their playbook. Take the time to enjoy soak in those special moments throughout your wedding day.

Let's talk vows.

There are SO many ways to do your vows nowadays. Traditional from the book, personally written vows in front of everyone, or even private vows before the ceremony.

What's my favorite?? Personally, I have been loving the feeling of the private vows before the ceremony. Having that time between you and your significant other can be something so special to share with each other. Whether it is after your first look, in a special location or even if you don't want to see each other before the ceremony and just want to stand back to back, holding hands.

Your vows can be such a unique part of your wedding day. What is your favorite???

Went to my very first KC plans event last night. A night were all the local wedding and event planners get to come together and celebrate each other. Lots of fun was had. We laughed, and learned so much from the wonderful speakers!

Hi there! 👋🏼

I haven’t been posting on here much due to preparing for baby girl coming very soon! I’ve been so blessed with the couples who have allowed me to work alongside them so far this year and am looking forward to finishing out the year strong with my remaining 2023 weddings. 🤍

With maternity leave quickly approaching, please remember

So happy to FINALLY announce. My 2023 Calendar has officially closed, for a very special reason 🤍

I've been quietly letting new inquiries know for a while, but feel it's time to make it official. We have a sweet baby due early September. I will still be working with my current active clients but will not be taking on any additional 2023 weddings. The timing couldn't have been more perfect because I am very busy both before and after my due date but conveniently had a slow gap in September and the beginning of October giving us time with our sweet new addition. 🥰

I have been so blessed with the amount of support I've received from current and past clients. Your referrals mean the world to me! Although my 2023 calendar is closed, please still keep me in mind for 2024! 🤩🤍

Don't forget when creating your seating arrangements, to consider the flow of the room for your guests. Transitioning from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to the reception should flow well with your guests able to change spaces with ease.
