And no, you do not have to follow every tradition just because it’s expected.

One of our favorite ways to make your details feel more intentional is by repurposing signage throughout the day. This welcome sign made the perfect first impression at the ceremony, then was moved to become the centerpiece of the seating chart display at the reception.

Your vows are not a performance.

They’re not supposed to sound like everyone else’s.
They’re not supposed to impress the entire room.

And they definitely don’t need to be packed with phrases you would never actually say out loud.

The best vows feel like you.

Personal.
Honest.
A little emotional.

Maybe even a little funny.

Write them to the person standing in front of you, not to the guests sitting behind them.

Because at the end of the day, your vows are one of the most meaningful promises you’ll ever make. Make them sound like your love story, not a Pinterest search result.
