After moving fields last fall, I lost a lot of my early spring blooms this year — and honestly, it’s taken a little longer than expected to get everything going again 🤍

But flowers are FINALLY coming back to Friendship Market this Saturday 🌿✨

Thank you for being patient with me through all the rebuilding, growing, and dreaming behind the scenes. This little business is growing in so many ways this summer, and I’m so excited to have fresh flowers back alongside the baked goods again.

Bouquets will be limited at first, but I can’t wait to fill the stand back up with blooms 🫶

One of my favorite parts of Friendship Market is getting to be part of moments like this 🤍

A sweet customer purchased one of our summer subscriptions for her grandparents. She doesn’t live in town, but every two weeks there will be fresh flowers and treats delivered to her grands with a sweet note attached.

It reminded me of my Mamaw Dean. She absolutely loves fresh summer blooms and little homemade treats, and getting to deliver joy like this feels so special. She’s already asked me to bring by Peach Cobbler Cinnamon Rolls!

That’s really the heart behind these subscriptions — slowing down, loving people well, and bringing a little beauty and comfort to someone’s week all summer long.

This season feels bittersweet, exciting, and deeply peaceful all at once.

Teaching shaped such a huge part of my life, and I'll always be gratetul tor my students and the years I spent in the classroom.

But deep down, I knew my heart was craving more time at home, more time with my family, and more room to build the life God has been placing in front of me.
So here's to slower living, growing gardens, baking bread, building Friendship Market, and trusting God in the unknown

After a lot of prayer, conversations, and tears… I’ve officially made the decision to step away from teaching.

Teaching has shaped me in so many ways, and I’ll always be grateful for the students, coworkers, and families I’ve loved over the years.

But deep down, I felt God leading me toward home, family, creativity, slower living, and building something meaningful for our community through Friendship Market.

What started as flowers, bread, and little farmstand weekends has quietly grown into something so much bigger than I ever imagined.

This next year is a leap of faith for our family.

More baking.
More flowers.
More gatherings around the table.
More intentional community.

I’m currently in a season of growth and change, and Friendship Market is playing a huge role in that (more on this soon 🤍). These subscriptions are inspired by traditional farm CSAs and act as a “share” in our bakery and flower farm for the summer season.

By purchasing upfront, you help support our small business through flower growing, baking, sourcing, and planning ahead for the season — while receiving thoughtfully curated deliveries filled with fresh blooms, warm bread, sweet treats, and seasonal extras all summer long.
