The father daughter dance gets me every time, but Shelby’s dance with her dad was just something extra special. As they danced around the dance floor, it was so easy to see the close bond they had and how emotional the moment was for both of them ❤️ I think this photo captures their love so perfectly!

When you're planning your engagement session, choosing a location can be one of the most exciting parts! The St. Louis area has SO many gorgeous location options to choose from!

I love helping my couples pick out the perfect location for them, whether it is Forest Park and The Muny where they see every show in the summer or the paths of New Town in St. Charles where they walk their dogs 😍

How on earth do you look natural in front of the camera?! Well, there's one easy trick... Hire a photographer who knows what they're doing! A great photographer (especially one that specializes in couples and weddings) will know exactly what to do to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera so that your photos come out looking as natural as you feel in real life 😍⁠

Being engaged is such an exciting time in your life. There is the excitement of telling your friends and family, the adventure of wedding planning, and the joy of knowing you get to spend the rest of your life with your best friend. What better way to capture this time then to have an engagement session to celebrate the two of you? 😍

A lot of wedding photographers offer complimentary engagement sessions with their wedding packages! I absolutely love having engagement sessions in my wedding packages because it allows us all to get an extra opportunity to hang out and gets you more comfortable in front of the camera! By the time your wedding day arrives, you'll feel more natural having your photos taken and will know what to expect with your portrait time!

It's 5 years from now, your wedding day is long over and you're planning what to get your hubby for your anniversary. The two of you cuddle up on the couch, pop open your wedding album, and relive all of those special moments all over again with tears in your eyes and a glass of wine in hand ❤️😭⁠

My advice to you? You want a photographer who can capture beautiful couple's portraits that worthy of hanging on your wall, but you want someone who snaps all of those magical moments in between too.
