Free Range Flowers at Martin Farm

Free Range Flowers at Martin Farm A small, family-owned farm growing seasonal, specialty cut flowers to celebrate life's special event We have retired!

Free Range Flowers at Martin Farm

We bought our farm in 2000 and immediately began planting a small orchard, later adding a little nursery and cutting garden. We grow apples, plums, a variety of small fruits for jams and jellies, and cut flowers. The area we use for growing flowers is not much more than an acre. As of Summer of 2023, we no longer sell at farmers market, nor do we do weddings and

special events any longer. We sell our cut flowers directly to florists and floral designers only now and wholesale through SOKY Floral exchange on Rooted Farmers. Thanks to all our loyal customers over the years.

This Thursday is our last farmers market from 4 until sold out. Yes, it is going to be HOT! So I recommend coming early and getting those 4th of July flowers home ASAP! If you change the water frequently and pinch off anything past it’s prime, you should have an awesome bouquet for the holiday. We’ll make as many red, white and blue bouquets as we can but the early bird gets those worms! If you are hoping to get more than one, let me know so we can have enough on hand. We look forward to seeing you. ❤️

Come get flowers this Thursday at 4 and meet our new farm dog, Godot. She is a 7 yr old Chocolate Lab mix who belonged to Gaye Nunn. Gaye passed away this April. I know we have some friends in common. Well, we were lucky enough to become her new family. Buddy (farm cat) doesn’t call it lucky, but hopefully he will adjust. We have 4 more Thursdays of selling flowers at market. Please come and visit. We generally sell out early so the early bird gets the worm! ❤️

Back at Thursday, June 8 for the next 4 Thursdays. 4 until sold out for us. Market is open until 7. Lilies, jewel tone stock, snap dragons, sun flowers, and countless other flowers will be on display this week. Come see us. No more weddings, but only 4 more Thursdays to buy our flowers. In July, we are transitioning to wholesale selling only. My health demands it and I am heeding the call. It is time to slow down. Thank you for your YEARS of supporting local flowers. We love you and will miss seeing you at market.

New flower friends at the farm today. Meet Nancy who is 82 today. She had a great time poking around in the flowers a bit and telling me about flowers she has in her yard from her mom. I LOVE it. Thanks to everyone who came out today to pickup peonies. Maybe we’ll do it again next year. ❤️
