My next Open Mic Picnic will be coming up again in June. Before that, the Hollywood Theater 100th Anniversary weekend is coming April 17-19. Three days with a wide variety of individual events happening at the theater.

Saturday morning the Gowanda Varsity baseball won the Section VI Class C Championship. They will be going on to the Far West Regional game at 11 a.m. June 7 against the Section V champion at Dwyer Stadium in Batavia. The game should be steamed by NFHS Network, which is a paid subscription website. If anyone, not wanting to pay for a subscription or travel to Batavia, would like me to host a watch party at my house, let me know. I have nothing planned at this time, but would put something together if there is interest.

Music in the Park is back! Join us every Thursday, 7/11 to 8/1, 6:30-8:30pm at Chang Hu Park for live music! Don't forget cash for snacks and our 50/50 raffle. All proceeds benefit the Gowanda Area Chamber of Commerce.
