❗️ATTENTION❗️ One of our own needs our help! GVFD Asst Chief, Chris Robertson's appendix ruptured. This put him in the hospital requiring immediate surgery. Shortly after, he ended up back in the ER with a very bad infection as a result of the surgery, causing him to become septic. After days in the hospital, he is finally back home with a drain tube. They also discovered 2 hernias that will require surgery before the end of the year, once he has healed enough from this most recent procedure. Chris has been out of work for 3 weeks and will be out an additional 2-6 weeks. Like all of us, he has bills and now medical expenses as well. GVFD members will be hosting a benefit dinner and all proceeds will be given to Chris for his medical expenses. All you can eat spaghetti, garlic bread, and dessert for $10. Please help us support our brother in need.
