First of all, bless your heart. 😂 Alright y’all… it’s happening. 😳 I’m stepping out of the church fellowship hall and into a FULL-BLOWN comedy club… and somewhere right now, Sister Holy Karen just dropped her casserole.
I’m rolling into the Funny Pharm Comedy Club for two nights of comedy, confusion, and at least one story that’ll make somebody spit their drink! June 5 & June 6… Doors open at 6:30PM, show starts at 7:30PM, and I hit the stage at 8:00PM… because apparently I’m the human dessert and before you panic—YES, it’s a clean comedy club. That means you can laugh hard, not feel guilty, and still raise your hands in worship on Sunday like nothing happened. 🙌😂
This is your chance to laugh so hard you forget your bills, your ex, and whatever weird thing you Googled at 2AM last night. Bring your spouse, bring your friends, bring that coworker who takes life too serious, your youth group… your senior adult group… your local baseball team…… and honestly—bring anybody that wouldn’t mind being seen in public with you. If they don’t laugh, we’ll just stare at them until they feel awkward. I’ve been told these shows may contain sarcasm, truth, and the kind of laughter your doctor would call “good cardio.”
So if you’re anywhere near Goshen… quit saying “we need to get out more” and actually do it and sit in the front row where I can see your facial expressions.
I’ll be talking about church people, getting older, weird family members, and the fact that my body now makes sounds when I stand up that should require a mechanic. And yes… there’s a strong possibility somebody’s aunt will laugh so hard she has to fan herself with a church bulletin.
