With a heart full of excitement, I would like to announce that I am no longer doing photography as a business!
Why is that exciting? Well, God has me doing other things for Him and that brings me much excitement.
I have loved every single one of you that I have photographed over the past 16 1/2 years!
To you, you were just getting family photos but to me, you were putting shoes on my children's feet,
diapers on their bottoms,
food on our table, gas in my car, paying for my trips to the mission field, foreign and on U.S. soil.
You all were part of something greater than you realized. You satisfied the cry in my heart for
creativity. Little did I realize I would enjoy editing with laughter, as I remembered the crazy
fun times we had during your session! I had no idea that I would cry seeing some of you post
photos of your loved ones who passed, knowing I had taken a photo for you that would last forever.
My plan as a photographer was to believe that God would get me into a photography studio debt free.
In December 2018 he did just that. The work that it took was intense but I never had debt and I
owe that all to God!
To everyone I mentored, my heart is so happy seeing how far you have come and how much you struggled
to get to where you are! You will do amazing things and I am cheering you on!
To everyone reading, do not take your photographer for granted, our work will stand the test of time.
Our hearts are unique. We get our
greatest joy at midnight, editing and smiling while everyone else is asleep, because you are all worth it. It's not about money
to most of us. It's about how you will feel when you see your gallery for the first time.
Make sure you show your photographer your canvases hanging on your wall in a beautiful display. It makes us
feel like our art is complete.
