The reluctant farmer has not been weeding his one quarter of a row. He’s a little mouthy about me not doing it for him. Also, we had a swarm of bees decide they wanted to set up shop in the boxes that we had sitting out waiting to be cleaned. So now we have to set up a new home for them, feed them and acclimate them to their new “apartment”. Then next week we will close them up and move the hive box back into the apiary. These bees are a lot of work!

Gosh I love this man! He cracks me up. Of course we all know he secretly loves my ideas...mostly.

The reluctant farmer was super enthusiastic at the start of the day last weekend! I have to hand it to him, he is a keeper. Imagine all the ideas I came up with while we planted seedlings for 3 hours?! No wonder he has 2 deer leases...he needs a little Rob time every once in a while!
