I don’t know if most people get emotional when they leave work, but sometimes I can’t help it when I’m walking out of this place at night. I’ll lock the doors, turn around and look at it for a minute, and it still hits me that this is actually mine. Not because it’s perfect or because every day is easy, but because I’m genuinely happy here. I love coming here, I love what this place has become and I love how it feels when it’s full of people. Then there are quiet moments like this, leaving a little later on a Friday night, when it all catches up with me. I’m just so damn grateful. It just don’t get any better than this.
