We're a community-first, community-created, charity-focused celebration of post-apocalyptic gaming culture operated by Buttered Popcorn Entertainment in partnership with the Pioneer Saloon, the Fallout For Hope Charity Initiative and a host of volunteers and creators from across the Wasteland. THE TOUR THAT GOES INSIDE A GOLD MINE ⛏

Hoover Dam & El Dorado Canyon, Friday only:

The Hoover Dam Visitor Center tour, Boulder City, then out to Nelson for the Techatticup Mine, including its newly opened cavern area. A boxed lunch from Mama Tess's Artisan Kitchen is included.

About 7.5 hours, $165 + tax, leaving the Pioneer Saloon at 10 AM.

One hard rule: no props of any kind on this tour. The dam is a federal facility.

START THE WEEKEND ON FOOT 🚶

The charity walk sets off from the Goodsprings cemetery at 11 AM on Friday November 13 and winds through town. It's been a Friday tradition every year since 2023.

This year we're walking for St. Jude's Ranch for Children in Boulder City.

Walk with us, bring your crew, and if you can't make it to the desert, you can still give from anywhere.

❌ No cash. Real money stays in your pocket for Vendor Village.
❌ Bottlecaps aren't currency. They're business cards, so put your socials on yours and hand them out.
✅ No fixed prices and no rules about equal value. If you both say yes, it's a fair trade.
✅ They don't want what you've got? Trade up until something catches their eye.

Bring trinkets, patches, crafted bits, jewelry, costume parts and scavenged curiosities. Never underestimate what someone else will bring.

Junc Alley is our costume-required immersion zone in Goodsprings: $10 a day or $25 for the weekend, and free with VIP (costume still required).

Bluff, call and go all in on the Pioneer Saloon deck.

Day one is free. Qualifiers run Saturday November 14, then the top 20 cap stacks and the 5 highest hands play for grand prizes on Championship Sunday. Rebuys and day two are $40.

Put your name down ahead of time and you get priority in Saturday's qualifiers. 21 and older.

NOW ARRIVING IN THE MOJAVE: MICHAEL HARVEY.

He gave the Wasteland its face.

Michael was Makeup Department Head on Season 1 of Fallout on Prime Video, and earned a 2024 Emmy nomination for it. He's run makeup on Law & Order: SVU since 2011, and worked on Men in Black 3.

Last year he did one-on-one sessions for cosplayers: burns, scars, mutations and radiation damage, Hollywood grade. The spots went almost immediately.

The Paladin is on his way.

Peter is Paladin Danse in Fallout 4, Miraak in Skyrim: Dragonborn, and BJ Blazkowicz in Wolfenstein.

And on Saturday night you can hear him do something else entirely: his band, The Newtrons, plays the Sandy Valley Ranch stage from 7 to 8 PM.
