Conklin's Dinner Theatre has been providing entertainment to central Illinois audiences for 40 years. Performing a mix of comedies and musicals, audiences have delighted in our antics and return again and again! The original barn structure, building in 1941, sustained some storm damage in August, 2015 and the company has been forced to cease opeartions due to the denial of an insurance claim to repair the damage.

After traveling the globe—by plane, train, and automobile—spreading good news (and a few good laughs), these holy rollers return to say thank you to the audiences who launched them on their heavenly journey. From mission trips to music gigs, they’ve seen it all…and have the stories (and songs) to prove it!

No pressure. No monologue. Just good people, good food, and a chance to step into something new. Ask questions. Meet the team. Hear about upcoming shows, roles, and paid opportunities.

Then stick around and give it a shot...we’ll have sides ready for you. 📓

We will be reading for "Elvis Has Left the Building" (October 2026 Show) and "Christmas Around The World" (Nov/Dec 2026 Show) plus looking ahead for new talent to add to our bench for 2027 and BEYOND! Be prepared to hop into a dance combination or two and show us what you've got vocally if requested. We'll have a piano on site and the ability to play a karaoke track of your choosing.
