Unfortunately, due to the weather, the Goochland Recreational Center will be postponing our Juneteenth Car Show. 🌧️🚗

But no worries — we’re shifting gears and moving the show to our July 4th Celebration 🇺🇸🎆

Get ready, because it’s time for our weekly Line Dancing Class — and we can’t wait to see YOU on the dance floor!

We’re learning fun new dances every week, getting fit, and having a blast with an amazing group of people! Whether you're a pro or just stepping out for the first time, this class is full of energy, music, and good vibes!

We will be taking Sunday off to celebrate Father’s Day — a special time to honor and appreciate all the amazing dads out there. 💙 Spend the day with your loved ones — we’ll be back the following week, ready to dance and sweat it out!

One of our primary goals towards the restoration of GRC is to secure the designation as a historical site. We are pleased to announce that we have taken a significant step towards that goal. Goochland Recreational Center has been listed as one of Virginia’s Most Endangered Historical Places List 2025 by Preservation Virginia.

While we are still actively working toward securing an official historical landmark designation, this recognition helps validate and bring attention to the significance of our facility and the mission we’ve been committed to. This is a meaningful step toward solidifying our impact and legacy.

Thank you to each of our members, community supporters, and sponsors for helping us on this journey. Special thank you to President Ryan Leabough and Financial Secretary Keisha Carroll for spearheading this initiative.
