Congratulations to Vernon Fleming on his induction into the Goochland County Wall of Fame!

This well-deserved honor celebrates his extraordinary volunteerism and lasting impact in various organizations throughout Goochland County.

His service to The Goochland Recreational Center, Inc. has been invaluable. From spearheading the historical marker project and securing sponsorships for the anniversary gala to supporting the renovation of the concession stand and caring for the building and grounds at GRC, Vernon’s leadership and dedication continue to strengthen our organization and ties to the community.

We are proud to celebrate Vernon and grateful for the example he sets through service.

Bring your ride out and help support a great cause at the Goochland Recreational Center Car Show on Saturday, September 12, from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM! Just a $20 registration donation, and every dollar goes right back into the Goochland Recreational Center to support renovations, programs, and future community events.

⏰ Registration ends at 12:30 PM, judging begins at 1:00 PM, and trophies will be awarded at 1:30 PM!
