The Terrace Room offers a unique venue and reception space for your event including: wedding receptions, luncheons, bridal or baby showers, business meetings, product presentations, product launch events, corporate dinners, professional association meetings, retirement parties, holiday parties, birthday parties, anniversary parties, art and fashion shows, or any other events!

Hey, I’m Rebecca, the Events Manager here at Terrace Room! I’d love to help you plan a party, a party with a purpose. All rentals at Terrace Room benefit a local nonprofit, Literacy Connections of Wayne County, helping them to provide free literacy programs for adults here in Wayne County. Hosting a fun event in a gorgeous space AND supporting a local nonprofit, what’s not to love?!?

What kind of events can we host? Terrace Room is best suited for more intimate events, we can host up to 100 guests. We’re a great spot for a mix & mingle cocktail party or a class reunion for a group that size. For events like dinner parties and showers, I personally feel like 40-60 guests is where we shine brightest,with room for a dining area, food & beverage stations, and room to boogie or set up a photo booth. Don’t forget our gorgeous terrace that overlooks the historic district with unmatched views of downtown Goldsboro. We can pop a few cocktail tables out there to add to the experience! We’ll even set the tables up for you!

Just waiting for our guests to put the finishing touches on for their events this weekend! Last weekend we were dance party central, this weekend we’re host to a dinner party and a bridal shower.

No matter what type of event it is, all rentals here at Terrace Room are a party with a purpose, with all rentals benefiting our nonprofit partner Literacy Connections of Wayne County!

We were honored to host this year’s Downtown Goldsboro Merchants Appreciation Breakfast with our nonprofit partner Literacy Connections of Wayne County!

Thank you to Green Thumb Florist for the gorgeous floral arrangements, GypsyBean Coffee Shop for the awesome coffee bar, B&G Grill for the delicious breakfast buffet and the DGDC Merchants Committee for coordinating this special appreciation event for downtown merchants!

Another special thanks to Matthew Livingston, Goldsboro City Manager, and City Council members Chris Boyette & Jamie Taylor for attending to show their support of our local merchants.
