While I desperately needed some slower time to get caught up on touch ups and commissions, I can’t wait to get back to weddings every weekend!

As a true extroverted extrovert I absolutely thrive in the energy of painting live and these long, cold winter days in the studio, although necessary, can be more draining

I’ve been so focused on getting caught up with touchups, that I’m behind on sharing some paintings that have gone home!

Claire and Hayden had such a beautiful summer wedding at the gorgeous Historic Wakefield Barn

I’m so glad I have the opportunity to capture it as a gift from her aunts and uncles!

Even though their pup Lucy couldn’t be there for the big day, she still got to be included in the painting!

The Roegge’s had a beautiful traditional wedding with a church ceremony moving over to a country club reception.

When the bride’s grandmother contacted me wanting to gift a live painting to them, she wasn’t sure it would be possible since they were moving locations - but that’s not a problem at all!

I started at the church and greeted guests as they arrived for the ceremony, got my reference images and then hurried to the reception to paint for the rest of the evening entertaining their guests!

The couple wanted a reveal at the end - and while I was loving the painting at end the of the night, I couldn’t be happier with the final touch ups and additions!

As a year of unparalleled success and growth comes to a close, I’m met with a slew of mixed emotions.

With high-highs inevitably comes low-lows. I struggled with saying “no” and overcommitting myself.

Yet, I am overwhelmed with gratitude at the number of you who want me to be a part of one of the biggest days of your life or who have trusted me to capture the special memories of your loved ones.

I’m closing this year nearly full on 2026 live painting bookings and a stacked waitlist for 2026 in-studio commissions.

My goal for the new year is balance.

Finding the place where I can both financially and physically take care of my family, while still pushing myself to grow and be fulfilled in business and as an artist.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who has played a part in this getting to be my job!!
