A huge thank you to NC Freedom Fest and Seymour Johnson AFB for letting us tag along with Ashley McBryde and her team on Saturday, as they toured the installation, and got up close and personal with an F15. Looks like she ablsolutely loved her one-of-a-kind flight jacket! 🫡

Ashley McBryde's deep appreciation for America's military is personal—her older brother served in the U.S. Army, and she's often shared how his service shaped her respect for those who wear the uniform and the families who stand beside them.

That passion for serving others extends beyond the stage. In 2025, Ashley launched The Light On Fund (www.cfmt.org/funds/ashleymcbryde/) a charitable initiative inspired by her song "Light On In The Kitchen" and the women who helped shape her life. The foundation supports causes close to her heart, including veterans' mental health, recovery resources for the creative community, children in foster care, and expanding ASL accessibility at live music events.

Ashley McBryde's authentic storytelling, commitment to giving back, and connection to the military community make her the perfect headliner for NC Freedom Fest.

🎤 Join us in Downtown Goldsboro on Saturday, September 12 for this FREE concert as we celebrate the men and women of our Armed Forces with an unforgettable night of country music.
