Ashley McBryde's deep appreciation for America's military is personal—her older brother served in the U.S. Army, and she's often shared how his service shaped her respect for those who wear the uniform and the families who stand beside them.

That passion for serving others extends beyond the stage. In 2025, Ashley launched The Light On Fund (www.cfmt.org/funds/ashleymcbryde/) a charitable initiative inspired by her song "Light On In The Kitchen" and the women who helped shape her life. The foundation supports causes close to her heart, including veterans' mental health, recovery resources for the creative community, children in foster care, and expanding ASL accessibility at live music events.
