It was the Grand Opening of the Mille Lacs Artisan Co-op in Malmo, MN on Sat, May 10, 2025. The Co-op is owned by my classmate, Erich Ess. Thank you Erich for having Maurice Wilson and I involved with your event. Not only is Erich a gifted artist (Metalsmith & jewelry repair), he is also a musician! We had him join us for a little Folsom Prison Blues.

It was a beautiful day at the Mille Lacs Artisan Co-op Grand Opening on Sat, May 10, 2025 in Malmo, MN! Here are a few pictures of some of the artisans and some of the wonderful unique one-of-a-kind pieces you can find at the Co-op! There were friends, many fishermen, and travelers who came through. It was a busy fishing opener and Mother's Day weekend! Thank you Erich Ess for having Maurice Wilson and I involved with your event!

The Co-op showcases a collection of unique one-of-a-kind local artisan wares, pottery, metalsmithing (and jewelry repair), lampwork glass art, lapidary work, agate jewelry, wire wrapping, gifts, souvenirs, custom creations, antiques, and more!!! There will be free hamburgers and snacks starting at 11:00 a.m. and music entertainment by the Diane Zilverberg Duo featuring Diane Zilverberg & Maurice Wilson from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. See you there!!

Yes, we've seen the rain! Our performance of Diane Zilverberg & The Power at the Aitkin Riverboat Days Festival got rained out yesterday, but today was beautiful providing sound with Alligations at the Confluence Hotel in Hastings.
