Nerdy Nuptials ICT is Hiring: Bilingual Wedding Officiant
English + Spanish | Wichita, Kansas Area | Part-Time / As Needed
Nerdy Nuptials ICT is looking for a warm, reliable, and confident bilingual wedding officiant who is fluent in both English and Spanish to join our team.
Our ceremonies are personal, welcoming, and centered on the couple. Some are sweet and traditional. Some are nerdy, funny, unconventional, or deeply sentimental. Many are a little bit of everything.
We're specifically looking for someone who can confidently officiate bilingual English/Spanish ceremonies, helping couples and their families feel included in one of the biggest moments of their lives.
What You'll Do
- Officiate weddings in the Wichita area and surrounding communities
- Perform ceremonies in English, Spanish, or a combination of both
- Review the completed ceremony script before the wedding
- Communicate professionally with couples and the Nerdy Nuptials team
- Attend the rehearsal when one is included and you are scheduled to officiate
- Arrive prepared, polished, and ready to make the couple's ceremony feel like them
We're Looking for Someone Who
- Is fluent and comfortable speaking publicly in both English and Spanish
- Is confident speaking in front of groups
- Is warm, dependable, inclusive, and professional
- Can follow a prepared ceremony while still sounding natural and genuine
- Is comfortable celebrating couples from a variety of backgrounds, traditions, identities, and beliefs
- Has reliable transportation and availability for primarily evening and weekend weddings
- Can legally become ordained to perform marriages in Kansas, if not already ordained
Previous officiating experience is wonderful, but it is not required. Strong public speaking skills, reliability, and the ability to connect with people matter more to us.
