The Mohawks explode to score 6 runs to come from behind and win.

The Amsterdam Mohawks rallied from a 2-0 deficit in the 6th inning to win the game 9-5. Both starters were dominating. The game was scoreless until the 5th inning when the Dragons took a 1-0 lead on a RBI single with 2 outs by Mario Cubello. The Dragons extended their lead in the 6th inning on a RBI Double from Von Baker who relieved Arlon Butts in the 6th inning. He gave up 1 earned run, 2 hits and walked 1.
Jake Washock pitched 5+ innings giving up 3 runs 2 of which were earned. He was dominanting for the 5 innings he played, shutting the Mohawks out. His only problem in this game was that he hit 4 batters. He gave up 3 hits, 0 walks, 4 HBP, committed 1 error which he committed in the 6th inning.
Brett Coker lead off the inning with a well placed single. Cade Bush followed, getting another single. Josh Overbeek then bunted to advance the runners to 2nd and 3rd. Washock attempted to get the out at 3rd but he threw the ball away, which allowed Coker to score and Bush went to 3rd and Overbeek went to 2nd. The Mohawks would score 5 more runs. Dan Shala stepped in to replace Washock but couldn't record an out. He allowed for 2 inherited runners giving up 1 earned run he allowed 1 hit and he walked 2. Pitcher Evan Mahns stepped in and allowed 2 inherited runs to score. The Dragons attempted to rally from the 6-2. Martin Marintchev singled on a popfly to right field with 1 out. Phillp Krpata walked and stole 2nd and they both scored on a E2 by Tommy Hunter who tried to throw out Krpata. The Mohawks scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 8th which extended their lead to 9-4. With a run by the Dragons the final score was 9-5, another win for the Mohawks, their fourth win of the season.
