I will be taking a hiatus from wedding planning through June of 2024 in order to focus on my family and baby girl who is due this spring! 🌸🎀🌸

THE EXIT

For those of you who don’t know me, I can be a bit of a princess 👸🏼 at times and I also love pirates 🏴‍☠️
So it seemed perfectly fitting to leave by boat when my aunt and uncle offered for us to use theirs!

The guests all blew bubbles as we walked through, but once the two of us hit the dock, we took off running! We were just so excited to be married!

Once on the boat, we climbed the ladders and waved goodbye to all of our friends and family who were still on the land. It was a true water loving princess exit! (Complete with a princess wave)

THE FAMILY

The family and the friends who might as well be family. We appreciate you being there to celebrate our marriage. We are blessed to have these special friends and family members in our life. And we are thrilled to know that they are standing on the sidelines cheering us on in our marriage and helping us stay centered on Christ.

THE CEREMONY

It is very important to us that we keep our marriage centered on Christ. We want to be an example of His love to us for others to see. This is one of the reasons we not only had a prayer time where our parents prayed over our marriage, we had communion time, and also served communion to all of our family and friends who were there celebrating with us.

Also, we had my favorite officiant - my dad!
I have grown up attending weddings where my dad was officiating and always dreamed of the day where he would not only walk me down the aisle, give me away, but also officiate my own wedding. I am truly blessed to have him play such a pivotal role in our wedding! 🤍

THE HELPING HANDS

There are so many people who were behind the scenes prepping for the wedding day, working and serving on the wedding day. We are so blessed to have such an amazing community surround us, love us, and support us on our wedding day! 🤍

FIRST LOOK AND PRAYER TIME

To start off our wedding day, we felt that it was of the utmost importance to start our wedding and marriage in prayer.
Sunrises have always been important to me and the time when I seem to hear God speaking clearest through the sunrises as He displays His glory. There was no better way to start off our wedding day.
Thank You LORD for the beautiful sunrise and the symbolism of the beautiful start to our marriage.

We’re down to just 7 days until I get to marry the man of my dreams!
This last week of wedding and marriage preparation has been one for the books!
We:
🤍got our marriage license
🤍had another premarital counseling session
🤍did our “cake tasting”
🤍signed the lease on our first apartment
🤍began the process of merging our houses/lives together into one place (thanks to our dads for volunteering to be free manual labor!)
🤍and today was our I Do BBQ! We are so thankful for all of the friends and family members who were able to make it! We love you all!

I cannot wait for all the things that these next few days have in store for us as we are counting down the hours until we are officially husband and wife!!
