By the time you’ve spent a few years in Arizona, you learn to appreciate the towns that still feel tied to the land around them. Dry air, hard light, and a main drag that has seen better days can tell you plenty.

This place carries that mining-country look that never really leaves a town once it’s settled in. The hills around it, the older buildings downtown, and the rough-edged character of the streets all hint at a community that grew up working, not posing.

I’ve always liked towns that don’t try to polish away every mark from the past. They let the history stay visible.

Regional history~~ and President Calvin Coolidge came through our Globe Train Depot 1916 Globe, AZ Train Depot Complex & Museum and stayed at the Old Dominion Hotel in Globe Historic Downtown during the dedication trip~~ Rice/San Carlos

//(8/5/26) We just had a last minute cancellation for a full weekend film booking at the Train Depot for the weekend of August 13-16. So we have openings for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday for the first time in forever. So, if anyone has any last-minute emergency venue needs (or need for a shotgun wedding lol) just holler! We might just be inclined to swing you a discount 😜. Did I mention we have really great AC?!
