Gene and Karin Egdorf opened KaBloom LLC in early May of 2014 after our long time floral shop in Glenwood closed their shop to concentrate on family and semi retirement. The demand for fresh flowers was so great that the small boutique started in a whirlwind and much faster than the owners anticipated. Karin has been a certified floral designer since the early 1990's but has pursued other avenues

until this opportunity came available. She has kept her fingers in the business of flowers doing weddings on the side and always growing flowers a home. Gene is a local farmer with a degree in Agricultural Management. He is the financial brains behind the operation while Karin keeps busy with the creative end. KaBloom LLC offers fresh cut flowers, floral arrangements, blooming plants, hanging baskets in season, and a line of giftware. They specialize in fresh floral arrangements, dish gardens and green plants, weddings, funerals and special events. Delivery area is all of Pope county including Glenwood, Starbuck, Lowry, Sedan, Villard, and Grove Lake. Call us for all of your floral needs!

Tonites project: work on that buffet turned vanity. I have a couple of challenges.
First, it is missing a foot. I have fashioned one out of 2x6 pine (2 pieces glued together then sanded to even them out). I can use pine since I will be painting the vanity.
The other challenge is that drawer at the top and in the middle. The sink will be offset to the right so I rebuilt the drawer to fit the plumbing. Now to carve out the drawer brace and fit it to the sink bowl.

So, it's a year since I had my health issues. I am in a much better place than I was last Winter.
I have been remodeling my house and have come up with some new projects. I will post projects as I start them and give you an idea of what I am working on.
