It’s time for a look at Marissa & Eduardo’s wedding floral from last Sunday! We took over 500 photos of this one so we’ll try to narrow down to just a few posts. 😅

First up is the wedding party floral. We created a draping bouquet with loads of textured blooms in the couples autumn palette for the bride. And each of her ‘maids carried a single variety of flower in an assortment of colors from that palette. Was a colonist on the usual matching bouquets.
The gents wore pocket square boutonnières with the groom’s made bigger and showier than the others. And if you look closely you’ll spot a dried rose in the groom’s bout and a few in the bride’s bouquet. They were sent to us ahead of the event and hold a sentimental meaning for them. Adorable!

It was 86° today on the southside, yes, in the middle of October. Wild. But it’s feeling like autumn around the design studio at least. We got to help with a fundraiser and play with some cute fall flowers. And this weekend we’re working on a moody event with dark fairytale vibes. We love this time of year, the rich colors are everything.

Next we’re going to take a look at Erika & Ryan’s reception space from their event in the Chicago Room at Chicago History Museum Events.
Dining tables were dressed with Candles and Baby’s Breath for a light ethereal look. The simplicity was perfect to let the art and architecture of the space shine. And you know we repurposed those ceremony arrangements for the reception! ‘Twas a beautiful evening.

When Brett & Brian’s guests transitioned from cocktails back to the ballroom for the dinner reception, the space had come alive. LED candles were on, wax burning candles were lit, the arch was now a backdrop for the Sweetheart Table and much of the cocktail decor made a reappearance. When they dinned the lights in that space??? Oooooowee did it feel magical in there.

Dining tables featured three centerpiece styles, each design was paired with its own unique candlescape. The first centerpiece style had pillar and votive candles with loose foliage and floral around them. The second style featured taper candles in gold holders, glass goblets with floating candles, votive candles in eclectic gold holders and bud vases of blooms. And the third centerpiece style on the VIP tables was a topiary design on a gold stand, with hanging glass globes with votives, gold pillar candles and loose orchid blooms. The combination was really interesting in the space and helped balance the budget nicely. Love to see it.

For Brett & Brian’s cocktail hour we got to add fun touches to the Speakeasy. This warm and cozy space featured some very cool interior design elements as well as our flask bottles, b**r bottles, martini glasses, and even some vintage cigar boxes, all filled with our late summer palette of soft foliages with blooms in plums, purples and greens. The vibes were immaculate with a mix of both masculine and feminine components.
