***Update had to go buy greenery in Hot Springs running behind.

Glenwood Florist & Gifts will be open tomorrow (Saturday) from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, or until the last order is completed.

We know phone service in parts of Glenwood has been unreliable, so we wanted to make ourselves available a little longer for anyone needing to place an order or make arrangements.

While our fresh flower selection is more limited than usual, we still have a nice selection of fresh flowers, green and blooming plants, silk cemetery arrangements, silk standing sprays, lanterns, wind chimes, and other sympathy gifts available.

If you need something this evening, please feel free to call or message us. Orders may also be placed through our website. Any orders placed for Monday will be prepared as quickly as possible, and if appropriate for the service schedule, we will do our best to have them available for Sunday's visitation.

As always, we are here to help in any way we can.

I'm working on fall and holiday buying, and I'm torn between two beautiful collections.

🤎 The burgundy pheasant collection has that classic lodge, hunting camp, Thanksgiving feel.

🩵 The blue harvest collection feels a little softer and more traditional with pumpkins, pheasants, hydrangeas, and fall florals.

💛 "Can you knot?"

"I cannot knot." 🌿 - Winnie the Pooh and Piglet🤣🤣

Well I can knot lily grass now🤪

For those of you who grew up with Pooh Bear and Piglet, that little conversation popped into my head while designing this bright birthday bouquet.

One of the techniques I practiced this weekend was a lily grass knot. I almost left it out... but then I couldn't. Or should I say, now that I can knot, I cannot not. 😅

It's always fun finding little ways to incorporate new techniques into everyday designs. Sometimes it's the smallest details that bring the biggest smile.

A little something different from the design table. 🌿🤍

These designs were part of another practice session as I prepare for my Professional Floral Design Evaluation (PFDE) at the end of the month. The PFDE is the hands-on design test required for accreditation through the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD), and it's definitely pushing me outside my comfort zone in the best way.

Not every arrangement has to be round and full. Sometimes it's about line, movement, texture, balance, and letting each stem have its own purpose. These contemporary designs challenge me to think differently and continue growing as a designer.

Every practice session teaches me something new, and while there's still plenty to learn, I'm excited to see how far I've come.

🌸✨ Ooh la la! Just look at these beauties! ✨🌸

These stunning dahlias were grown right here in Arkansas, and they're showing off in the best way possible. From soft blush pinks to rich berry tones and fiery sunset colors, every bloom is a little work of art.

One of my favorite things about locally grown flowers is that no two stems are exactly alike. They have so much character, movement, and personality that you just can't help but stop and admire them. PLUS one small business is helping another small business!!!
