Naturally, when you’re an artist and you hear the news about one of the most iconic queens of country-pop music, you reach for the GTX pink named Dolly, every other shade of pink in your kit, and all the sparkle you can find.

Growing up in the 70s and 80s, Dolly was such a part of the soundtrack of my life. She was bold, talented, funny, compassionate, generous, and one of the most inspiring women of our time.

So I painted this little tribute in pink, sparkle, and country glam for a true legend.

Thank you, Dolly, for inspiring generations of women to shine, dream big, and be unapologetically themselves. You will be deeply missed. 💖✨🤠them

A few of my favorite faces from Upper Dublin Parks & Recreation’s Before Dark and Twining 5K Run 🎨✨

I’m so grateful to Upper Dublin Parks & Rec for inviting Rise and Shine to be part of so many wonderful community events this summer. I’ve loved getting to paint all of these beautiful faces and be a small part of the fun. 💕

And what a way to end the summer events — painting at the Twining 5K while the band played and the sky turned into that sunset. 🌅😍 Pretty perfect.

Feeling really grateful for the opportunity to help make three Burger King grand openings memorable for their guests. ❤️🧡

I wasn’t able to personally work the first two, but I was lucky enough to paint at the third one, and it was such a fun event.

I even got to paint a little “You Rule” design on one of the guests, which was such a cute way to match the Burger King theme. We also leaned into lots of reds, oranges, and warm colors to tie everything together with the event.

It was a slower-paced event, which meant I got to take my time, be creative, and add some extra detail to the designs, including a sweet Winnie the Pooh arm painting.

There were balloons, face paint, happy kids, and lots of smiles.

These are the kinds of events that remind me how much I love what I do. 🍔🎨🎈Thanks Burger King. You Rule!

This weekend was full of florals, shimmer, swans, glitter, and lots of older kids and adults joining in. 💜

A couple of older teens sat down and told me they usually would never get face paint because the face painters they’ve seen before were awful lol. But they said they really liked my work and complimented the artistry.

Not gonna lie, that made my whole day.

I love when older kids and teens give it a chance because face painting does not have to be childish or cheesy. It can be pretty, detailed, soft, sparkly, and wearable.

Face painting is really for anyone who wants a little extra magic at the party. ✨

There’s just something magical about icy blues, snowflakes, shimmer, and that little princess smile when they see themselves in the mirror.

And with Frozen 3 coming in 2027… I have a feeling these wintery looks are going to be requested even more. 💙
