To Our Loyal Customers and Employee (Past and Present),
We are thrilled to be celebrating our 75th anniversary on October 29th, 2023. As we reflect on this amazing journey, we are filled with gratitude for all of our customers, employees, and the local community who made it possible to reach such an important milestone.
My father, Frank R. Coupe, started F.R Coupe Flowers on October 29th, 1948 in the Germantown section of Philadelphia at the corner of Maplewood and Germantown Avenue, after having served five years during WWII, in the South Pacific. I had asked him, years later, what drove him to start a flower shop. He had told me, he just wanted to make people feel happy. To anyone who ever met Frank, they knew what a truly wonderful individual he was. His great ability to relate to his customers is what drove many of them to become lifelong friends and confidants, who would turn to him during times of happiness and sorrow. He instilled in me to always delivering a quality product at a fair and reasonable price and to exceed customers’ expectations, these ideals have carried through to this day.
Our Commitment to delivering a top quality product and exceptional service will remain steadfast. It is your trust and loyalty that allows us to continue on the legacy that my father has built. It has allowed us to grow as a company, but has also enriched our lives with meaningful relationships and cherished memories. We have had the privilege of being a part of your special moments, from birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, and more. We are honored to be a part of your lives and we pledge to continue to providing you with the service and product we have come to be known for. We look forward to remaining a part of this community now and in to the future.
