Don’t just arrive…•𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒂𝒏
𝒆 𝒏 𝒕 𝒓 𝒂 𝒏 𝒄 𝒆• 💅🏻 First impressions matter— and having a grand entrance is the perfect way to 𝒘𝒐𝒘 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒈𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒔 and set the tone for the rest of the night!
Guests couldn’t help but feel festive as they were greeted by an ensemble of 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙢𝙖𝙨 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙤𝙡𝙚𝙧𝙨, a 𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙥𝙚𝙩, and 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚-𝙨𝙞𝙯𝙚𝙙 𝙣𝙪𝙩𝙘𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙧𝙨 that ushered them to the front door. (But of course, we didn’t leave it at just that) — the 🅗🅞🅛🅘🅓🅐🅨 🅢🅟🅘🅡🅘🅣(🅢) were flowing as guests were welcomed into the event with a cocktail in hand🥂
And as each guest stepped into the most elegant foyer of pale icey blues and a regal black and white marble floor —which we further adorned with that classic and sophisticated holiday palette of red, silver, and crystal— everyone knew they had stepped into a truly magical

Life Lessons from a Flower:
You are beautiful just the way you are🌸

I’ll forever the moments when can I step back (or get closer) to the flowers I work with. They never fail to embody the some of life’s biggest lessons.

Unapologetically true to themselves, and even more breathtaking because of it.

What I find doubly interesting is the different ways someone can interpret the look, feel, and attitude of a snapshot like this based on their own experiences.

To Phyllis, woman behind it all —happy mother’s day 💖

There is no one in this world I’d rather have on my side, day in and day out, working non-stop with to make the most spectacular events happen, than Phyllis! (Who—if you couldn’t tell from these pics is my amazing mother 🥰)

She is the true embodiment of small and mighty, having started her own company some 30 years ago and never looked back (...while raising 3 kids, I might add). From a small flower shop she used to run out of our house when I was a kid, to the full event planning, design, and floral arts company Eventricity is know for now — she has proved to the world that with drive, dedication, and passion for what you do— you can make the most amazing things happen!

She has taught me everything I know, and is the most amazing role model a daughter could ever ask for. She is the strongest, kindest, silliest, sassyist, most genuine, caring, creative, and hardworking woman that I have ever met. But above all, she is the person I am truly thankful and proud to call my mom🥰💞

There’s nothing we love more than seeing photos of our couples on their wedding day. As the florist, we get to see the bridal party early in the day, when we drop off their personal flowers while they are getting glammed up in hair + make up💅🏻✨Seeing their faces light up when we show them their bouquets and boutonnières for the first time is something that we will never get tired of 🥰

After that, we head off to set up the ceremony and reception, so we don’t have the chance to see all of the precious moments...like these here... that are full of pure love, happiness, and excitement as they embark on this first day of the rest of their lives together.

Do we happy cry at every photo album? (Definitely) But when you see love like this between the couples you get to know on a personal level, (and Amiee and Damon I swear were true embodiment of sunshine and smiles) it’s impossible to not be hit with a wave of ALLLL of those feels. And we wouldn’t want it any other way 🥰

If you ever worried you aren’t “bridal enough” because you don’t like the standard and traditional — do NOT apologize for that! I cannot stress enough that this whole day, from the dresses and suits, to the flowers, decor, cocktails, dishes, entertainment, stationary, music, to the venue, guests, and atmosphere... all of this is happening because you two found each other and knew, you belonged together.

I mean think about it, your love for each other is so strong that it is bringing together your most important friends, family, and wedding professionals. We gather to support you, laugh with you, (happy) cry with you, and make sure that this monumental moment and promise is something that will be celebrated, admired, and remember for generations and generations.

There are so many people out there, and out of all of the billions of people on this earth—you found the one. The one who gets you. Who spirits you. Who’s makes you laugh. Truly loves you, employers you, and pushes you to be the absolute best version of yourself out there.

Without you two, none of this would be possible. We wouldn’t have a couple, love story, or promise to celebrate. It’s all because of you.

T U L I P T I P S:

Most people call them tulips, but sometimes they can do a little twist + turn into a wiggly stem that we sometimes like to call “bendy wendy” —what’s up with that ?

Tulips are a flower that, I personally think, have been seriously under appreciated over the last few years. (But am thrilled to see making a come back!) Tulips are the perfect way to instantly add a touch of graceful elegance to any look, and will always leave your jaw on the floor. (They’re like the Audrey Tautou of flowers)

If you know how to care for them properly, you can take these sophisticated stems and help them bloom into a full faced flower that shows off an unexpected air of attitude, luxury, and modernism.

Their stems can twist and bend into a playful and energetic dance, or stand up straight and orderly. No matter which way they are presented, tulips will always find a way to quietly capture your attention, and effortlessly steal your heart.

TODAY’S TIP—> Tulips stems may droop or bend for a variety if reasons. One common reason for this is because tulips are . . .

this means that they are stimulated by, and will grow and bend toward, the light. If you have your tulips in an area of /near direct sun light, be sure to rotate the vase every so often to reorient the directional growth of their stems. If you place the tulips directly below a dominant light source, this will reduce the leaning of their stems.

Congratulations to our most recently married love bugs, Amiee and Damon! These two were an absolute joy to work with, and the love they have for each other is truly inspiring. They are both so genuine, kind, and always made me smile ☺️

We couldn’t have been more thrilled to create the floral designs that were a true extension of their personalities, and be there to accent the beautiful moment when they said “I do!”
