Hi friends! I have some big news to share. After 12 awesome years of running Cakes by Sarah from my home, I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be stepping into a new role as Head Baker at Flour Child Bakery!

Cakes by Sarah has been such a huge part of my life since I was just a tiny baby at 18 and I am beyond grateful for every single order, celebration, and customer who has supported me over the years. You’ve trusted me with your most special moments, and that’s something I’ll always treasure.

Going forward, all custom orders will now be placed through Flour Child Bakery, where I can’t wait to continue creating the same sweets you love, just in a new space and on an even bigger scale.

Thank you for 12 unforgettable years of love and support. I’m so excited to keep building these amazing relationships and celebrating life’s sweetest moments with you all.

Hi friends! I know it’s been so long since you’ve last heard from me. I’m so excited to share that I’ll be taking Mother’s Day orders this year! With the baby coming so soon, I wanted to get my menu out a little early so I can prepare in advance!

To place an order, just comment below or send me a message! Order pick up will be the Saturday before Mother’s Day, May 13th. Delivery will be available with a small fee depending on location!

I know I’ve posted so much today, but this is what I’ve been waiting to share! While I absolutely hate turning down orders and sending away my loyal customers, I’ve got something a little extra special I’m working on at the moment!

With this special announcement, I’d also like to bring awareness and explain why I’ve stopped taking orders. Just like with my other 2 pregnancies, I’ve been suffering once again through hyperemesis gravidarum. I knew there was a high chance of having it again, but I was determined for one more baby. But it’s not been easy. For every good day, I have 10 bad ones. It’s so much more than just morning sickness, it’s debilitating on my physical and mental health.

I’ve had a very hard time completing the last of my custom orders but was able to do so with the help of my incredible assistant, my mom, and with the endless, rock solid support from my life partner, Brandon.

Lastly, I just want to say thank you to all of you. You’ve all helped my business grow tremendously in the last 8 months. Every message, every like, every share, every tag has not gone unnoticed. I have some small plans for holiday treats as long as I start feeling better and will keep my Facebook updated!

Hi friends! I know I’ve been a little MIA recently and I promise I will explain shortly 👀. At the moment I am not taking any custom orders. I’m hoping to still do a Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas presale, but I will keep you all posted!
