Fact fact: The bride (Abbey) & I are cousins! We grew up super close, basically like sisters.

When I found out I would be coordinating her wedding, not only was I excited (because look how beautiful, right?) but I knew I was going to be working for a couple who’s relationship inspired me. A & C truly compliment one another in every way.

did you know that you can give your ring a free glow up my dropping it into a small dish of hot water & dish soap? gently scrub it for a few seconds with a small brush or your fingers, then take it out & carefully dry with a tissue or paper towel! your ring will be sparkling!!!

ps. yes i realize there are two different sets of earrings in these pics! brought so many gorgeous accessories, it was impossible to decide!

hi hey hello! i’m katie & here are some things you should know about me if you’re thinking of hiring me to be your wedding day-of coordinator.

1. i truly adore the art of story-telling through beautifully thought out & intricately designed events. i want you & your person to really shine through every single detail of your day!

2. i am an enthusiast to my core. you can tell me about all your wedding ideas, dreams, plans, etc. & i promise you i will be freaking out about amazing it all is!

3. i’m a super down-to-earth person. who wants to work with real people, goofy & in-love couples. i love the idea of being able to call my clients “friends” when the wedding is over!

4. helping you getting through your wedding day as smoothly as possible is not a job to me, but a joy for me. i’ve always been passionate about doing what i love, and helping solve problems & allowing you to enjoy the happiest day of your life with as little stress as possible makes me freakin’ happy.

a moment for the details ✨

whenever i build a wedding day timeline, i like to add in 15-20 minutes for your photographer to play with your wedding “details” & get some of these photos of the little things!

here are some ideas of what you can use in your details photos:

+ your invitation suite
+ save the date
+ perfume bottles (my husband & i made a date out of shopping for our wedding day scents! we picked a special smell for each other & now only wear them on special occasions!)
+ rings
+ ring box
+ scrap ribbon or fabric
+ fruit
+ your bridal bouquet
+ boutonnières
+ wedding favors
+ place cards
+ accessories such as your shoes, jewelry, veil
+ your “something blue”
+ small photos of past loved ones
+ leftover flowers from your florist
+ wax seals (these were custom made by along with the entire suite, but you can buy some on etsy too!)

bright pops of color, fun accents, loads of texture, sweet & genuine moments between a real-life couple in the golden rays of sunshine… this day truly captured everything i want to be & experience as a wedding planner & coordinator.

to for working with me on my vision for the invitation suite to make something so elegant & lovely. & for being there on shoot day with your little one!

to + .518 — for making the sweet treats we were all able to enjoy as well as use for the shoot! i have no doubt that so much love & care was put into each dessert.

i’m not a florist, but here’s something to keep in mind when choosing your wedding florals…

you’ve probably heard me mention how much i adore dahlias. well, i had fully planned on having dozens of beautiful orange dahlias in my early june wedding… until i found out that dahlia season was later on in the summer.

my amazing florists were still able to pull off my dreamy, sunset vision & managed to find a few white dahlias here & there! 🥹 but sourcing the flowers was something i hadn’t thought of.

remember friends, flowers are seasonal! that means that certain types of flowers are more accessible depending on the time of year it is.

if you’re not sure what flowers will be available, ask your florist! 🌼
