The Owner of the Oaks Ballroom, Anthony Foster is sorry to announce, after 20+ years the Oaks will be closing on November 2, 2025. We will take care of all banquets through November 1. My Wife Lynda and I and Sons Andrew and Nick want to thank Anthony for everything He has done for our Family. Together we provide a great facility with great service, food at a reasonable price. To answer the questions why, “It's Time”. I want to thank the many clients that had their Parties, Weddings at the Oaks, I want to thank all the people that worked with me, first the 2 Chefs that were here, Kevin Diegnan and Mike Loro that cooked the best food in Delco, the present staff led by Jean,Marie Cris, Alana, Lexi and many others, Many names from the past, Bobby, Matt, John, Jean’s Grandkids and others, also Bonner/Predie that sent me many other Staff members over the last 20 years.
I have many clients and friends text me and my Boss Anthony asks me if I am sad, I lied and said no but after 20+ years I am ready for the new chapter.
The 2 saddest are my Wife Lynda and Granddaughter Amelia. Lynda has worked with me for many years, She yells at me more at work than at home. Amelia is the cutest, smartest, almost 3 year old in the world, just ask Nonna, she will tell you.
