Trust me...after planning and coordinating so many weddings, these are the ones I see way too often:

1. Underestimating Hair + Makeup Time

Those glam moments fly by. Add extra time, especially if you're doing photos before the ceremony.

2. Thinking You’ll Be Dressed in 10 Minutes

Girl, no. Between buttons, lace, shoes, emotions, and the squad snapping pics, it takes longer than you think.

3. Not Adding Travel Buffers

If you're moving locations, add time for traffic, parking, and your uncle who’s always late.

4. Keeping the Schedule in Your Head

Your bridal party isn't psychic, give them a timeline so they’re not asking you 100 questions all morning.

5. Forgetting Family Photo Logistics

Uncle Tom will disappear. Have a family photo list and let them know where to be, and when.

6. Ignoring the Sunset

Golden hour is not a myth, plan your portraits around it and thank me later.

7. Skipping the Chill Time

1️⃣ Stick to 2–3 colors max – Keep it cohesive across your invites, florals, signage, and linens. Simplicity equals elegance.

2️⃣ Greenery over flowers – Eucalyptus or olive branches go a long way, fill a space beautifully, and cost way less.

3️⃣ Custom signage – Welcome signs, seating charts, and bar menus in acrylic, mirror, or wood = instant luxury vibes.

4️⃣ All the candlelight – Nothing sets the mood like clusters of candles. Romantic, warm, and timeless.

13 Things Guests Keep Doing At Weddings

1. Not RSVPing On Time

You had one job. Your late RSVP makes it harder to finalize the seating chart, food, and vibe.

2. Writing in Random Dietary Notes

This isn’t Postmates. Allergies? Cool, let us know early. But “only eats wild-caught salmon”? That’s not a vibe.

3. Ignoring the Dress Code

When it says "garden chic" or "all white," it’s not a suggestion, it’s the aesthetic. Dress accordingly.

4. Blowing Up the Couple with Last-Minute Texts

“What time’s the ceremony again?” If it’s in the invite, don’t ask. The couple is busy living their main character moment.

5. Rolling in Late to the Ceremony

Weddings aren’t like brunch, fashionably late is still late. Be early and be chill.

6. Playing Photographer with Their Phone
