Halloween pedestrian safety is crucial, especially for children. To stay safe, remember to exercise caution when near vehicles and walking on pathways. Enhance visibility by using a flashlight, LED lights, or adding reflective tape to costumes, and always walk on sidewalks facing traffic. On Halloween, the risk of child pedestrian accidents doubles, with over 70 percent of incidents happening away from intersections or crosswalks. Stay alert and be seen to ensure a safe Halloween night!

For all my Glen Ellen friends, here’s a pic from
Halloween past.
Recognize the Giant Jack O’Lantern??
It’s the corn-hole game from the Dunbar Halloween Carnival and Haunted Barn!!
That’s our dear departed barn cat, Buddy.

Sigh… the sweet old days of Dunbar merriment and Moondances.
Simple pleasures shared with a large and loving community.

More photos coming. On a nostalgia trip.
