Today was one of those days that I had to remind myself of how far MiniMix has come.

I started my day at 7am cleaning my studio for a church service booked later in the morning and ended it on a rooftop in DC after setting up as one of the vendors for a private brunch.

For 13 years, I was completely mobile, loading up my vehicle and traveling throughout the DMV and PA to bring parties and experiences directly to families. I spent years dreaming about what it would feel like to finally have a space of my own.

There have been many sacrifices, but every day I get to walk into Jo | Children’s Party Planner and say, “This is mine” is a blessing. Little Jo would be so proud. 🥹🫶🏾

This time last Sunday, I was boarding a plane back to Baltimore after spending an amazing week in Punta Cana. ✈️🌴

I landed at 8pm and immediately hit the ground running. I went straight from the airport to Jo | Children’s Party Planner to set up for our summer camp program, which ran Monday through Friday. Saturday morning, I broke everything down to prepare for a baby shower, then I spent Saturday night setting up for a church event. And tonight? I’ll be right back at the studio getting everything ready for another week. 🎉

Oh… and did I mention I have three kids?! Ya girl is tired! 😅 But no worries—I’m catching up on emails, inquiries, and content. So if you’ve reached out to me over the past week, keep an eye on your inbox! ❤️
