The JUNKtion at Stephens' Barn is a gathering place to junk, craft, create, and relax in a party atmosphere for any occasion: bridal, baby, girl's night, couples only, work groups, reunion, etc. No experience necessary. Bring your own junk or we have a selection of junk from which to choose. We supply paint and supplies. You supply the creativity. Snacks and Beverages included. Message for prices and minimum number of guests.

You are invited to make this summer sunflower wreath at the barn! My forever friend, Jenny Staples Higdon, will be leading the class. The cost is $30.00 and we will provide the craft supplies. All you need to bring are your scissors (not good fabric scissors) and a ruler OR a rotary cutter and mat. Please RSVP by April 21 to secure your spot.

Alright JUNKsters...Last night, I went to BG Habitat for Humanity. Each of their chandeliers were 1/2 price. They had some of the cutest "princess" types of chandeliers with crystals and brass that we could junk. Get on down there and pick out something.

Chalk Paint Recipe
1 cup of latex paint (flat or satin only)
3 T plaster of Paris
1/2 cup warm water
Mix water and plaster of Paris until smooth. Add paint. Mix until smooth. Let sit for a few hours or over night. Stir before use. Add plaster of Paris one teaspoon at a time if too thin. Add water one teaspoon at a time if too thick.
