Late Summer Flower CSA: Part 2, week 3. We tried something new this year! We split our CSA into two parts: late May - June, and mid August- September. Yup- we skipped over July. We’ve noticed over the last few seasons that as we shift our growing space more towards perennials that the green gap in early summer became harder to make large volumes of bouquets. So instead of fighting it, we decided to split the CSA into the two most abundant parts of the season. Voila!! I think it was a great call. 😉
