Hello Gilmanites!

We would like to thank every single person that came out yesterday!

We are reading all of your feedback, and appreciate the support we received from everyone that attended.

We know that we are not going to make every single person happy, and we are okay with that.

There were circumstances beyond our control yesterday that affected No River Day 2024. We did everything we could to get additional food trucks, but by the time the other one had stopped responding to us, we tried to line up another one, and there just wasn’t enough notice for them. In addition, there are several local dessert trucks that we reached out to that turned down coming to town because they have an attendance requirement that we couldn’t guarantee. We also had multiple craft show vendors that just didn’t show up.

To those few saying that the event was rushed, poorly planned, or we didn’t meet your criteria for an event, we are sorry you feel that way, but we’re not going to stop trying to make this event happen.

Please keep in mind that the committee that is in charge this year is different than prior years, so NRD 2024 was a learning curve and offered us the opportunity to figure out how to make it better in future years.

We have learned a lot this year, gotten some great feedback and advice, and can’t wait to see you all in 2025!
